Founded by Andoni Arvanitakis, a Sydney-born local who grew up on the beautiful island of Zakynthos, One Life Tours was created from a deep love for this place and a passion for sharing its true beauty with the world.

Mission & Vision

“One Life” is more than our name — it is our philosophy.

The inspiration comes from my late son, Dennis, whose life motto was “ΜΙΑ ΖΩΗ” — “One Life.” He always believed that we are given only one life, one opportunity, one chance — so we should live fully, love deeply, and never waste a moment.

Zakynthos was his favorite place in the world. His most special spot was the breathtaking lookout high above Shipwreck Beach, where the cliffs meet the endless blue of the Ionian Sea. He called it “Heaven.”

After he passed, I built a memorial bench there in his honor, overlooking the same view he loved so much. His name and his words remain engraved: ΜΙΑ ΖΩΗ — Live the life you love.

Every visit is a reminder to appreciate life, family, and the beauty around us. Creating One Life Tours became my way of carrying his spirit forward — helping others experience this island with meaning, joy, and connection.

Because Dennis was right. We truly have just one life. And it deserves to be lived beautifully.
